Mrs. Hott and Mrs. Sheima are SUPER excited to share Positive Actions with Morgan County students because today, and each Monday, is when we "motor-up" YOUR school week and get ready for more PAWsome days of learning and growing... 

"MOTO Monday!"    

or, "Motovation Monday" where we will see a vlog to get our week "motored-up" with positive thoughts, actions, and feelings!

Look at this:

What do you see? Isn't it beautiful!?!  A tiny drop of water is a valuable resource to protect...and we live in a community that celebrates water!  Guess what!?!  YOU are a valuable part of our community that we can protect with PAWsitive Actions and we celebrate YOU!  This week, we will see that students can make positive decisions today to help each other have a better world tomorrow.  

Our PAWsitive Action "word of the week"is:  VALUABLE
And in Spanish:  VALIOSA
Try to say "valiosa"! 

For Positive Actions, we are learning about wonderful words that build our Social and Emotional Wellness to help us all get along (at home, school, and in the community), raise our student assets, build confidence, and improve our academics! 

VALUABLE is.....
     *of great worth
     *having desirable or esteemed character and qualities
     *feeling of meaning and importance

We'll talk more about this for today's Daily Vlogcast, so keep watching for a super sweet story of a tiny boat with big dreams!  You'll see that even the tiniest of ships floating on the same water are equally as important as those large ocean liners.....

Also this week, we will talk about the positive actions "RESPECT" and "SELF ESTEEM" -  As we work to define our self concept, we realize that each student is valuable, and equally worth of our respect.  Every student in Morgan County is a VALuABLE part of our community!

Positive Actions will appear in our schools this year and begins today on a journey together to discover that starting with positive thoughts, we can choose positive actions, and help us to gain positive feelings!  Take a look at our logo:

Look at this young girl!  Her name is Greta Thunberg. Greta is a Swedish environmental activist who is raising global awareness of the risks of climate change. She's a student using her VALUABLE voice to make a PAWsitive change!  YOU can too!!  You are VALUABLE!
