Time for POSITIVE ACTIONS!
I am so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, Sept. 4, 2019! Today is....
We are going to continue to spend some time taking a look at our rules and ways in the school hallways, cafeteria, and restroom. We know that following the school expectations shows kindness to our school family and helps keep us safe! This week, we will take a look at the Positive Action word, RESPONSIBLE!
Now, watch today's Positive Actions Video Vlog from Mrs. Hott, where our friends over at Warm Springs Intermediate illustrate PBIS HALLWAY Expectations. Maybe their positive expamles will help at YOUR schools too:
Wow! That was fun! Did YOU see "Where in Morgan County" we found PAWsitive Actions? It's a really hard one today, right? But, for those third graders, you may recognize a fun hallway in another Morgan County school community!
Enter your guess on a scrap paper with your name and teacher to possible win a free T-shirt from the Morgan County Partnership. Drop off for Mrs. Hott in your school office.
We witnessed some actions that were NOT positive, right? Oh no! Let's rewind! Think about what you saw. Tell your teacher an action that was not positive. (running, riding chairs, pushing, leading to even bullying)
You see, when we follow those "Cougar Ways" or your school's expectations in the Hallways, it is not only waaaay safer, but it also eliminates pushing and romping which can cause both accidents and hurt feelings.
What suggestions do YOU have to help us have a community that cares in the halls here at school?
