Cougars that the Hallways 8/28/17

...where ALL students are UNIQUE and Wonderfully Made!

Welcome to your 2nd week of the new school year!

I am so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, August 28th!  We are going to continue to spend some time taking a Cougar Crawl around Warm Springs Intermediate School this week to take a look at our rules and ways in the school hallways, cafeteria, and restroom.

Now, watch today's Positive Actions Video Vlog from Mrs. Hott:

We witnessed some actions that were NOT positive, right?  Oh no!  Let's rewind!  Think about what you saw.  Tell your teacher an action that was not positive. (running, riding chairs, pushing, leading to even bullying)

You see, when we follow our "Cougar Ways" in the Hallways, it is not only waaaay safer, but it also eliminates pushing and romping which can cause both accidents and hurt feelings.

What suggestions do YOU have to help us have a community that cares in the halls here at Warm Springs Intermediate School?

Let's all take a look at
WSIS Cougar Ways for the Hallways!

Let's read together then tell your teacher:
Why is it a Positive Action to follow the Cougar Way in our hallways? (pause for discussion)

Who can we help when we follow the Cougar Way in the hallways?
(pause for discussion)

Let's close today with the Positive Action Theme Song!  On your feet, push in those chairs so you have a safe space,...and ready to be positive!
