Time for POSITIVE ACTIONS!

Today is the last day of school! It's FUN FRIDAY where we see that our community cares about the students in 
Morgan County Schools!

We are so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, May 29, 2020! Each Fun Friday in Positive Actions, we celebrate the PAWsome community where we live and meet a new friend who cares about YOU!

Our community has some super amazing folks who are excellent ROLE MODELS and PAWsitive Partners!  And, guess what, also PAWsitive PrinciPALs too!  Today, we continue a new series called:

POSITIVE PRINCIPALS

Because school is not closed, just the buildings are!  

Mrs. Sheima and I found YOUR principals in a zoom room and got to chat and check in!  Let's watch today as we visit with Ms. Cunningham from Pleasant View Elementary.  She is amazing!  Maybe you are missing your Pleasant View community OR maybe you've never met Ms. Cunningham....well, today let's get together and chat! She is PAWsome!

Some days are hard (like really hard recently, right?); but with Positive Thoughts, Actions, and Feelings, YOU can make choices to help you and others have a Positive future!

Here are a few questions for you:  
1)  Think about someone in your family.  What positive action did they do today?
2)  Now, think about someone in our school community.  What is one Positive Action you saw that you liked?  Next, be sure to tell that person "thanks!" for being Positive!
3)  Next, we are going to do a Positive Action Activity together.   It is important to stay connected!  Do you miss your principal?  Send her an email and let her know!  Here is Ms. Cunningham's:

Remember, it is a Positive Action to follow the Golden Rule because changing the world starts with one student at a time...and that is.....

YOU have the power to make our school, home, and world, a better place with POSITIVE ACTIONS,..it's up to YOU! With summer break coming up, and now that the COMMUNITY will be opening up a little more each day, Ms Nikki and "Wagner" have some tips to help us all, from 2 to 92, communicate better.  Watch this:

So, Mrs. Sheima and I created a "WSIS Walk-a-bout" featuring our WSIS COMMUMITY of third grade fabulous teachers! From the pick-up line to the gymnasium, join us for a little walk-about, and discover where your future teacher's classrooms are located, lunch is served, or....even where outside recess is! Listen to current 3rd graders share "words of wisdom" about all the exciting and fun times they have learning at Warm Springs Intermediate School.
