WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS! In the classroom, at home or work, and virtual school, all use Positive Actions to focus on community well being. The Morgan County Partnership joins us each Wednesday for a moment to focus on physical health by following School Therapist, Lacee Kidwell, in gentle stretches and mindfulness for when you may be feeling anxious or stressed....just breathe, stretch, and relax, and wait for your thoughts to become positive. The Positive Action Word of the Week is: Thankful/Gratitude, and in Spanish, Gracias/Gratitud! Positive Actions says that GRATITUDE is "a thankful expression for what a person receives, whether tangible or intangible. With gratitude, we acknowledge the goodness in our lives. Remembering to be thankful helps to stay positive even in the bad in our lives. Gratitude helps us to: 🥰 feel more positive emotions 🤗 relish good experiences 🍎 improves our health and wellness ✅ deal with adversity 😎 build strong relationships Here are this week's YOGA poses: Ocean Breath Warm ups: Sun Salute A Poses - Mountain, Blown Palm, Tree, Mountain, Rag Doll, Downward Dog, Butterfly, Seated Side Bend, Cat, Cow, Rock, Cobra Relaxation- Tense and Release Affirmation - "I am at the starting point of my potential success."
