Burrrr....it sure has been cold!  Mrs. Hott missed you ALL on Friday when we were off for cold weather!  Golly, wasn't it freezing?  

I didn't want you to miss last week's beautiful community volunteer so for today, we will take a program break from our regularly scheduled Monday vlogcast to bring you the following feature:  Mrs. Karen Perry!

Perhaps you recognize Mrs. Perry!  She is not only Robert's grandma, but she is also a PASS volunteer and coordinates a cool after school program I just heard all about called Joy El Generation.  Check this out (and, btw, you will see a "Friday" intro, but I didn't want you to miss her story):

Mrs. Hott is SUPER excited to share Positive Actions with Morgan County students because today, and each Monday, is "Makin' Music Mondays!" where we celebrate in song our "PAW"some school!

Do YOU know that "the way we think about ourselves controls how happy, healthy, and successful we will be"?  In Positive Actions this year, we are discovering that we each have beautiful, unique characteristics that are all important and valuable to our Cougar Community, here, at school, and at home.

For your morning "community character vlogcasts," you will meet caring people, and discover the character values IMAGINE and DIVERSITY!  These are two super cool Positive Action words. I hope you enjoy these vlogcasts!

WELCOME BACK!  Mrs. Hott is excited to be back at Warm Springs Intermediate School!  I missed you ALL and hope you had a POSITIVE Thanksgiving Break!  Before we begin today's regularly scheduled programming, join Cutie the Cougar and the Positive Action Players for a journey around Warm Springs Intermediate School where we will take a look at our "Cougar Expectations!"

Welcome to Positive Actions Community Character Vlogs!  Today is November 27th!!! Mrs. Hott is SUPER excited to share Positive Actions with Morgan County students because today, and each Monday, is "Makin' Music Mondays!" where we celebrate in song our "PAW"some school!

Do YOU know that "the way we think about ourselves controls how happy, healthy, and successful we will be"?  In Positive Actions this year, we will discover that we each have beautiful, unique characteristics that are all important and valuable to our Cougar Community, here, at school, and at home.

In our Positive Actions classroom time in the Cougar Den for this week, we will discuss COMMUNICATION and COURTESY.  For this week community values we will watch and talk about two simple words that are key to POSITIVE communication:  "please" and "thank you!"  We will see that if we use these positive words, others will too...that's called being a GOOD EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS!

Welcome to Positive Actions Community Character Vlogs!  Today is Monday, September 18th.  Mrs. Hott is SUPER excited to share Positive Actions with Morgan County students because today, and each Monday, we will be having "Makin' Music Mondays!"  with a new school song called ...  (drum roll.....)

MR. CABLE'S COUGAR CREED

Did YOU know that "the way we think about ourselves controls how happy, healthy, and successful we will be"?  In Positive Actions this year, we will discover that we each have beautiful, unique characteristics that are all important and valuable to our Cougar Community here at school, and at home.

In our Positive Actions classroom time in the Cougar Den for this week, we will be answering the question "Who Am I?" while completing a PAWsitive PAW Poster.  These creations will be yours to share with our cougar community and post around the school. 

Also this week, we will talk about the positive value "EQUALITY" and learn that each of us are equally important, and we ALL matter.  We will learn that student in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are ALL important and can make a difference in our community by reaching out to each other.

So, before we hear "Mr. Cable's Cougar Creed" today, Mrs. Hott wanted to share with you something really cool!  Our WSIS third graders have been working extra hard on our Positive Value word, "Responsible". In fact, a reporter from the local news, WDVM Channel 25, came to do a story about a music video the third graders are working to create!  Thank YOU students and teachers!  You guys sounded great.  Ms. Sheima and Mrs. Hott will be sure to share the music video when finished soon.  In case you missed the news....check this out:

Our very own school ukuleles!  Here they are!  From Black Cat Music Shop and our Morgan County Partnership, 25 ukuleles of "delicious" colors will soon be ready!  After Levi helps me get them all tuned, we will have them all here by Oct. 9th.  Aren't they PAWSOME!

In our Positive Actions classroom time in the Cougar Den for this week, we will be talking about what it means to do Positive Actions, and how beginning with and sharing positive thoughts with others can cause good (or positive!) things to happen.

And, here on our Positive Action Vlog this week, we are learning about how to offer ENCOURAGEMENT to others where each of YOU will "encourage" students in a county-wide kindness exercise.  (This is super cool....Ms. Nikki at the Morgan County Partnership is getting this rolling!)

Now, it is time for you all to hear, for the first time EVer in Morgan County Schools, well... actually in all of Morgan County,...WAIT!  I just thought of something!  What YOU are about to hear is a real "World Premiere"!!!  For today, we begin with Mrs. Hott's demo song for you called... Bear with me, ok?  As you know, Mrs. Hott is not the best singer around, but we will sure have fun AND get to hear beautiful core values to help us be a Cougar Community.  Each Makin' Music Monday, your class will watch a vlog with "Mr. Cable's Cougar Creed" beginning today with just Mrs. Hott and Levi where we will get to learn the words.  Then, as the year progresses, you will see various community groups around Morgan  County joining us all in our chorus.
