Time for POSITIVE ACTIONS!

Today is FUN FRIDAY where we see that our community cares about the students at
Warm Springs Intermediate School

I am so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, January 4, 2019! Each Fun Friday in Positive Actions, we will meet a new friend in our community that cares about YOU!  For today, meet Mrs. Karen Perry!  
  
In case you have ever seen Robert Steven's grandma in the halls here at Warm Springs Intermediate School, you may be wondering why Mrs. Perry comes to school...well, in today's vlogcast, you will hear about her love for READING!  Mrs. Perry is a PASS Volunteer for Morgan County Schools.  Also, she is a coordinator for a "PAW"some after school program called Joy El Generation.  Ever heard of it?  Well, watch this!

Some days are hard; but with Positive Thoughts, Actions, and Feelings, YOU can make choices to help you and others have a Positive future!

Here are a few questions for you:  
1)  Think about someone in your family.  Tell your teacher one Positive Action that person did recently.
2)  Now, think about someone here in our school community.  What is one Positive Action you saw that you liked?  Next, be sure to tell that person "thanks!" for being Positive!
3)  And, think about someone from your neighborhood or community.  Who already knows Mrs. Perry from today's vlogcast?  What Positive Action did you see that person do?  
(Share answers with each other.)
4)  Finally, YOU can do a POSITIVE ACTION today!  You ALL are unique and wonderfully made; so, share YOUR positive actions with someone too.   
Show someone you care with a something as simple as just one word... "HI!" It's free, a positive action,....and, it is contagious!  So, start right now to change the world by making positive choices for your physical and intellectual well-being AND your example will encourage others, YOU become a positive ROLE MODEL, impress friends and classmates, and launch you into a positive future!  

I promise!

Remember, it is a Positive Action to follow the Golden Rule because changing the world starts with one student at a time...and that is.....
