Time for POSITIVE ACTIONS!

Today is FUN FRIDAY where we see that our community cares about the students at
Warm Springs Intermediate School

I am so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, June 8th!! Who is excited for Summer Vacation coming up SOON!  It's almost here, right?  This has been a PAWsome school year, hasn't it!  To close, we will visit a friend in our Morgan County community that has some very important "words of wisdom" to share with the children at Warm Springs Intermediate School...here they are:

"Be kind, be kind, be kind!"

Being KIND is a Positive Action!  How will YOU be kind to others at school, and over the summer?  Let's see some more...Each Fun Friday in Positive Actions, we will meet a friend in our community that cares about YOU!  For today, meet.... (drum roll please.......)

 Mr. Erich May! 

Mr. May is the Superintendent of Schools for Morgan County!  Cutie and I got to visit him at the Morgan County Board of Education offices, where he shared some Positive Actions.  Do you remember what Mr. May wanted to be when he was a little boy?  Listen and see,

A Rock Star!  Rock On!

Some days are challenging, right? But like Mr. May said, an "ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE" is a Positive Action!  

Here are a few questions for you:  
1)  Think about someone in your family.  Tell your teacher one Positive Action that person did recently.
2)  Now, think about someone here in our school community.  What is one Positive Action you saw that you liked?  Next, be sure to tell that person "thanks!" for being Positive!  And, let Mr. May know you have an "ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE" just like he does!
3)  And, think about someone from your neighborhood or community.  What Positive Action did you see that person do?  THANK them too!  YOU can make someone's day when they hear YOU say "thanks!"

Remember, it is a Positive Action to follow the Golden Rule because changing the world starts with one student at a time...and that is.....
