Welcome back to your school community! Mrs. Hott hopes you all had a beautiful Spring Weekend (LOL...more snow, whaaaat?!) I am so excited to be back for Positive Actions today, April 3rd!! For each "Teacher Talkin' Tuesday" in Positive Actions, we will meet a new member of our school family community that cares about YOU!
As we listen to our school family share their dreams, how hard they worked/studied, when they were little, stories of their life, and how Positive Actions helped them, we learn a little more about each other. Discovering about each other's life helps us to understand why and how we become who we are.
Here is today's video vlog from Mrs. Hott where we will get to meet Mr. Bruce Rickli. Look! This is where he works! Wouldn't it be pretty cool to work here every day! He is a real pilot from Berkeley Springs who flies for Southwest Airlines.

YOUR student assets are what will help you succeed here at school and as you grow up. When we learn more about our teachers and staff, it helps to create a caring school climate, which is an essential external developmental asset.
Maybe someday YOU want to grow up and fly a big airplane like Mr. Bruce. Whatever you love to do, Positive Actions will help you beginning today! And, like Southwest Airlines, we can begin right away by practicing those FLIGHT VALUES too. Let's read together what those FLIGHT VALUES are:

In your Positive Action folders, or on a sheet of paper, lets draw a picture of an airplane. It can be like Mr. Bruce's Southwest Airline, or a creative air machine from your imagination. Under your airplane, write the word
FLIGHT
and remember that here at Warm Springs Intermediate School AND also at Southwest Airlines, Positive Values are essential!"Talking it out" starts with one student at a time...and that is.....
